State of the ArtAug 04, 2008

If you look into the world of today's high tech flashlights, this one is one of the most highly regarded. Easy to use, many settings and very powerful. This one uses the CR123A battery and its brother, the D10, uses a AA. The CR123A is much preferable to the alkaline AA, but isn't as easily found and can be pricy. The lithium AA is powerful, but it can be a bit pricy.

A Kickass Little Flashlight!Dec 02, 2009
By Stephen R. Finney A little more than a week ago a friend of mine showed me his Nitcore Flashlight, and I was blown away. For such a compact little flashlight to put out so much light was amazing. I immediately got on to Amazon to find one. I looked at other websites to see if I could find it any cheaper, but with no significant difference in price to be had, opted for my favorite online store, Amazon. The flashlight arrived in very short order, I slipped a CR123 battery into it and blasted my retinas with 130 lumens of pure white light. It bears mentioning that you can vary the brightness with the tail cap switch. You can go from a very dim (suitable for navigating around your house at night) light, to one capable of rendering an intruder, at night, temporarily blind. I'm telling you that if you need a small incredibly bright flashlight that puts out good white light, this is a good, if not too cheap choice. If the price doesn't put you off, you won't be disappointed with this flashlight, trust me! Get one, you'll love it
